Yep. A kit. It included EVERYTHING except the two tablespoons of butter and the spoon to stir it with and the pan to melt stuff in. Sorry to get you all excited for a recipe, but this is the best I've got.

I read a book that called porches and decks pseudopods. Either they get walls and a roof and the house expanded into them, or they disappeared and were abandoned living space. =)

Ours is very livable now. I need to get pictures of the new deck up. We just don't use it much during the winter.
